It represents the largest cybersecurity engineering project in history, with an investment equivalent to 34,000 engineers working full-time for 11 months, focusing on mitigating risks and improving security for both Microsoft and its customers.

Microsoft has implemented several initiatives to promote a security-first culture, including the introduction of a Security Core Priority for every employee, which is discussed during performance check-ins.
